FAQ

What material are IMO marine safety signs made of?
Our signs use long-afterglow photoluminescent self-adhesive film: they charge under normal lighting and stay visible after power loss, in smoke or in low-light conditions. Reflective, glow or standard PVC substrates are available on request.
Which standards do the signs comply with?
Graphic symbols follow ISO 7010 and the relevant IMO resolutions (such as A.952(23) for fire control symbols). Life-saving appliance signs follow GB 16557-2023, with sizes and colours selected from the standard series.
Can signs be customised for a specific vessel?
Yes. Standard items are ordered directly by IMO item number; non-standard sizes, bilingual layouts, grouped sets and adhesive types can be produced for a specific vessel, space or sign schedule.
How do I select the right products?
Browse by application (fire control, life-saving, escape routes, hazard warning, prohibition, pipe banding) or search by item number such as 504.02. If you are unsure, send us the space and purpose and we will advise.
